The Excalibur Group is currently seeking a General Clerk I in Washington, DC to support a local contract.


**Will be subject to a background/credit screen prior to employment.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coding and filing documents in an extensive alphabetical file.
  • Posting to individual accounts.
  • Opening mail, calculating and posting charges to departmental accounts.
  • Operating basic office equipment, e.g., photocopier, facsimile, multi-line phone/voicemail systems, mailing machines, and minimal computer programs.

REQUIREMENT
  • Working knowledge of current commercially available software packages for Microsoft Office; Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook email, electronic calendars, spreadsheets, electronic forms, etc.
  • Work assigned is mostly sedentary, however, some walking and bending is required to perform file maintenance tasks.
  • Experience in office setting preferred.

PAY RATE:
$18.31/hr + H&W


HOURS OF OPERATION
Mon. – Fri. 8:30am – 5pm
